We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

 

Business: Insurance

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Business Understanding: Understand business initiatives through regular interactions with project managers, business analysts, and development managers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with local and global development teams in overall solution design and technical design activities.
  • Software Development: Deliver high-quality Java server-side software solutions in a timely fashion, rigorously unit tested (including automated unit tests), meeting requirements while adhering to technical designs and existing departmental standards and best practices.
  • Bug Fixing: Provide bug fixing as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Requirements Analysis: Assist in detailed requirements analysis, strategy, and estimation. Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.
  • Testing: Prepare and maintain test tools, conduct reviews of test-wares, report test status, participate in knowledge management activities, defect prevention activities, collect and analyze test metrics, carry out test execution for complex functions, and design reusable automated test scripts.
  • Research: Research and investigate new testing methodologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve existing systems by optimizing performance and enhancing efficiency.
Requisitos
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development, ideally in multi-tier/real-time applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java and Design Patterns.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud-related development.
  • Proficiency in Hibernate/JPA, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, and JMS/Messaging.
  • Comprehensive experience in the development of microservices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Fluent in both oral and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to learn fast and rapidly assimilate new business requirements.
  • Disciplined approach, able to follow processes and suggest improvements where necessary.
