The Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.

The SVP HNI Segments Marketing lead designs and executed the marketing strategy for all aspects of the customer lifecycle for our HNI flagship proposition HSBC Premier & Global Private Banking segments for Wealth Personal Banking India.

The role holder is responsible for:

  • Design, management and execution of Marketing communications campaigns and activities to deliver against the marketing and business objectives / ambitions for the above mentioned segments
  • Formulating and implementing Marketing activities and campaigns to support the achievement of customer acqusition, revenue growth and cross sell targets for these target segments of WPB India
  • Driving portfolio growth in HNI & UHNI segments, building the HSBC brand presence and collaborating for local activation of campaigns and events
  • Create differentaition, thought leadership and consideration for the segments and ensure that the segments and the HSBC brand is promoted in a cohesive and consistent way
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders across other products and services connected with the segments
  • Managing agency and supplier relationships to get innnovative and market leading creative output that maximises return on maketing investments and objectives

Principal Responsibilities

This is a senior and strategic individual contributor role to drive the marketing strategy for HSBC Premier & Global Private Banking in WPB India.  The responsibility covers the marketing interventions required for lifecycle of the customer from acquisition to on boarding to engagement to activation and retention.

Key tasks are:

  • Customer activity: Run campaigns and marketing initiatives to achieve target customer activity rates at a portfolio level.  This would include support for CLCM, targeted messaging across owned and paid media
  • Customer acquisition: Strategise for customer acquisition across online, offline, referral and  through cross sell to appropriate target segments.  It requires coordination with the digital acquisition, events, social media and other relevant teams to drive the business objectives
  • Ensure high brand recall: Explore and use of customer insights to drive creative output from the agency and devise and execute online and offline marketing campaigns to ensure high level of consideration amongst the target prospect set.
  • Execute ad hoc need based campaigns as per business requirements
  • Data and insights led approach to campaign creation and marketing strategy development

  • Percentage of primary banked customers
  • Percentage of customers with wealth holding
  • Cost of acquisition, activation, retention
  • Brand consideration score amongst HNI and UHNI
  • Creative response rates (clicks /open/sales)
Requisitos
  • MBA in Marketing  from Premier B-school
  • 10+ years of strong marketing experience in for HNI UHNI segments
  • Good understanding of premium retail banking products and services
  • Prior experience in agency management to deliver top notch campaigns is a must
