We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineering

Role Purpose:

To provide production support, ensuring the quality, continuity, and, where appropriate, the resilience of the service, and offering optimal recovery times in the event of any disruption.

Main Activities:

  • Provide support in the identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service.
  • Review, analyse, investigate, and resolve user requests related to problems they encounter when using the systems/applications.
  • Provide support on weekends and holidays according to the needs of the service and the established on-call role within the department.
  • Assume new duties as new needs arise within the service.
Requisitos
  • Extensive knowledge of AS400, ILE CL, SQL, and IFS.
  • Review of COBOL code to identify causes of errors reported in incidents and possible solutions.
  • Review of logs to identify causes of errors reported in incidents and possible solutions.
  • Interest in investigating, responding to, and resolving incidents.
  • Interest in learning new technologies.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new roles and work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, according to the needs of the service.
  • Clear understanding of English and ability to be understood.
