We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Specialist Engineering
Provides technical leadership and ongoing support for local developed applications. Possess specialized technical knowledge as the business area may require. Performs business analysis to implement updates to current system based on business needs. Coordinate individually or provides team leadership as required in projects to support technical and business strategies.
Provides service quality, facilitating changes and identifying risks.
Main Activities:
- Provide support for testing changes and its deployment in production environments minimizing the impact.
- Provide technical leadership, coordinate tests, and identify preventative opportunities.
- Provide technical solutions to new requirements from users.
- Trouble shooting issues in production and testing environments.
- Provide technical analysis and solutions to business issues, provides consultation to meet business requirements.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
Requisitos
- Proven experience in the computer science or related field with a minimum of 5 years desired progressive practise.
- Specialized experience in programming or database languages and techniques for application systems design; recognition as a technical resource within the work group; strong communication, project management, analytical, and leadership skills; the ability to take appropriate risk; a knowledge of businesses supported; and demonstrated ability to apply multiple technologies to business situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- We are looking for candidates with subject matter expertise on the following skillsets.
- Oracle SQL Database and PLSQL
- SpringBoot (Java)
- PostgreSQL
- GCS (google cloud storage)
- GCP (Google Cloud Platform
- Linux server administration basic knowledge
- ReactJS (JavaScript)
- Python
- Agile Tool Sets – Continuous Integration/Delivery
- Scheduling tools such as Control M operative level
- WebSphere and Tomcat
- Jenkins knowledge
- Automatic Monitoring Tools such as Splunk
- API based technologies.
- Service Now basic knowledge
- Jira knowledge
