We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of UKPO strategy and align project execution accordingly.
Shape the technology landscape of automation, customer communication, document management, and workforce solutions.
Initiate and oversee projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
Engage with business and IT stakeholders to manage expectations and identify technological opportunities.
Lead solution proposals, including cost estimation, high-level design, and potential implementation strategies.
Prepare necessary documentation such as solution proposals, marketing materials, project charters, and dashboards.
Drive adherence to HSBC standards and methodologies in all project executions
Qualifications – External
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
8–10 years of relevant experience in portfolio and project management.
Bachelor’s degree (or demonstrable experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in VBA Macros (Excel) – a must-have for automation and process efficiency.
Experience in Power BI – preferred for data visualization and advanced reporting.
Strong project and portfolio management expertise, with experience in governance, risk management, and benefits realization.
Stakeholder engagement and management, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business goals.
Advanced reporting and analytics experience, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making.
Deep understanding of system design, requirements analysis, and architecture.
Change management expertise, ensuring seamless adoption of new technologies and processes.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate would ideally have sufficient technical skill on MS Excel – Functions and VBA Macro Coding
Strong knowledge of Data Analytics to support digital transformation.
Familiarity with risk management processes and successful project execution methodologies.
Understanding of financial management principles within project execution
Prior experience in matrix organizational structures.
Excellent presentation and articulation skills.
Flexibility to work across multiple time zones as per business needs
