We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Strategic Business Change, Senior Manager

Principal responsibilities

• Oversee all HSBC testing across all propositions, to ensure a consistent approach
• Create, refine, and update the testing strategy and approach
• Agree testing scope and plan for all business testing activities (including user acceptance testing – UAT, operational acceptance testing – OAT, business regression, live proving, and first occurrence validation - FOV)
• Work closely with the global and market business to define testing scenarios and execution plans
• Lead test execution activities, including both execution of scripts and management of test execution across global team of dedicated testers and business users
• Establish and maintain defect management approach
• Establish and maintain regular progress and status reporting for testing
• Lead pro-active investigation and resolution of any key risks or blockers, and escalate to management for support as required
• Review opportunities to increase test automation and efficiencies across the team
• Define key testing requirements, including environments, data, and resources, and provide these to leadership in a timely manner
• Work closely with technology test teams (both HSBC and third party) across all of the above to ensure an aligned and consistent approach and scope between technology and business testing

• Test execution and management
• Automation and performance testing experience will be an added advantage
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Hands on experience in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Selenium, etc as applicable for testing activities
• Should have delivered projects with large complexity and scope
• Able to lead and influence a large group of people, who will not have a formal reporting relationship with the individual
• Excellent inter-personal skills and analytical skills
• Proven track record of test management and effective stakeholder management
• Ability to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural diverse work environments.
• Resourceful - ability to leverage resources globally available to achieve goals.
• Strong relationship management and program / change / project management skills.
• Ability to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders, and get necessary decisions taken within desired timelines

• The role holder should have extensive knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas – Client Services, Credit & Lending, Capital Markets, Global Payment Solutions, Global Trade & Receivables Finance, Regulatory Risk & Compliance, Sustainability
