What you will do:
The role holder has a responsibility to provide custody services to institutional and alternative asset managers. The purpose of this role is to ensure efficient, timely and accurate service delivery for our book of clients.
This is a fixed term contract temporary FTC role that we are looking for fill until year end 2025 to support Ops during an upcoming global project Engine. This sits within the FOF team and is a large roll out of a platform that will automate our current FOF process.
In this role you will:
- Engage in daily BAU processing on the FOF trade order placement and oversight model
- Manage and oversee the operational workflows of a Custody team onshore and offshore where applicable, to ensure that all service delivery output is completed to high quality and timing standard.
- Responsible for the delivery of a cohesive service to our clients and their investors
- Responsible for the management of an end-to-end operational model across service delivery that fulfills client expectations whilst achieving efficiency and control objectives
- Ensure that new Custody product initiatives are supported and implemented in an efficient, controlled and scalable manner.
- Ensure all Custody services are produced in accordance with group policies, Department procedures, Prospectus and Regulations.
You should apply if you have:
- Relevant experience, involving client contact, fund of fund trade order placement experience and knowledge of the Custody product offering.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of the securities market, the associated market infrastructure, trade and cash processing environment and fund structures.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the funds industry and in particular the Custody product and associated regulations.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of the technology and systems supporting the product.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize workload to meet agreed deadlines.
- Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content.
- Aptitude for problem solving with ability to provide strong guidance under pressure.
- Flexibility to work to deadline and to support late shift (14:00 Hrs. – 22:30 Hrs.) on occasion
