Main activities

  • Addressing requirements from Local and Federal Tax Authorities.
  • Controversy matters related to tax audits including administrative appeals and conclusive agreements.
  • Tax Compliance Leader, providing support and management to the tax compliance team for assuring the accuracy and due dates on: tax compliance obligations (Income Tax, VAT, SIPRED, ISSIF, IMMEX registration, informative returns), IFRS Tax Reporting, Forecasting the current & deferred taxes for capital plan and profit sharing, Reconciliation and substantiation of tax accounts.
  • PWC audit and financial reporting leader for the Current, Deferred Tax and Effective Tax Rate.
  • Governance and controls such as SOX Controls monitoring and assessment, CMU analysis (monitoring VAT and non-deductible expenses) and EUC certification.
  • Leader for the Optimization of tax compliance processes through the implementation of technology and partnerships with external vendors.
  • Provide tax advisory on daily tax matters of the Functions.
  • Support to the Head of Tax on any tax matter and special projects (mergers, restructures, entity rationalization).
  • Tax compliance risk management. 
Requisitos
  • Desirable Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economic Areas.
  • Desirable M.D. in Taxes or Finance.
  • 10+ years of experience in Tax, specially on international services companies.  Desireble Financial Sector.
  • Desirable experience in a Big4 firm.
  • Knowledge and experience in advisory (local and international), compliance and accounting for taxes.

  • Negotiation skills, ability to influence people.
  • English skills - written and oral. Intermediate, fluent (desirable).

  • Management skills to admnistrative and coordinate the activities of his team effectively.
