We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Technology Country / Region Market Management.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Based on the key business drivers, design End-to-End technology solutions that enable the business outcomes to be achieved optimally
  • Engage the relevant platform teams to agree on the End-to-End design, drive end to end alignment between platforms to ensure the capabilities can be delivered and is scalable across channels, products and markets with minimal customizations
  • Solution designed should be fully aligned with Future State Architecture (FSA) defined globally for Insurance. Shall there be any deviations to the FSA, lead relevant clear choice decisions balancing between time to market and future effort required to remove technical debts
  • Develop and main a multi-year roadmap for insurance business technology capabilities – specifically for Servicing that look beyond the initial launch, focused on AI, automation, and next-gen platforms
  • Deliver against a strategic operating plan (such as Core Capabilities) that ensures resources (capability, people and funding) deliver improvements in current customer journeys and new features to increase customer experience
  • Jointly manage the annual budget spread between designing and developing new services (Change The Bank) as well as managing and supporting existing services (Run the Bank)
  • Develop strong internal networks to gain buy-in and drive adoption of new technologies and AI
  • Manage an effective working relationship with partners and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery and efficient cost management
Requisitos
  • Strong insurance domain knowledge in Hong Kong, specifically in Servicing, Claims and Policy Administrations
  • Familiar with the different insurance distribution models and products with good understanding of the commonality and differences how they impact the functionality required by our Life operations
  • Experience in cross-business technology roles with a focus on designing and delivering technology solutions within life insurance, with working experience on, Operations and Product Development
  • Experienced in delivering successful multi-channel, cross markets IT projects which require strong stakeholder management
  • Experienced in managing programs, projects and a variety of delivery / assurance roles across a number of markets/locations and cultures
  • Built and manage commercially viable digital platforms, services and capabilities
  • Worked in the functional business areas in Life Insurance in Asia
  • Experienced at managing operational functions and leading process re-engineering and efficiency exercises
