We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant specialist. 

In this role you will:

  • Functional Manager of all resources and engineers supporting several applications.
  • Build and maintain the broad and diverse set of skills required to support the applications.    
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, support, guidance and management for the team.
  • Ensure that all the application meet the strongest resilience standards. Accountable for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the team.
  • Define and implement best practices for software development, framework, and patterns, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies. 
  • Continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling, and engineering practices
  • Ensure that all software and applications meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and security.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards. Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members.
  • Strong commercial awareness looking for ways to drive down RTB costs through automation and efficient use of Infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain a roadmap to move away from legacy technologies.
  • Target to achieve full Agile/DevOps environments.
  •  Act as the Technical Delivery Manager for selected projects owned by the Client Reporting & ESG (Environment Sustainability and Governance) SVS (Sub value Stream)
  • End-to-end technology delivery, managing creation and deployment of technology solutions for customers.
  • Collaborate with Transformation teams, architects and the various Technology teams throughout the project to achieve desirables outcome.
  • Coordinate between all the Technology teams to ensure that all deliverables are met on time.
  • Be the front person between Technology teams and Business/Transformation.
  • Work with SVS (Sub value Stream) Tech Lead to optimize use of funding.
  • Identify technology requirements for solution design. Support the solution architects to ensure that solutions and services are aligned to FSA and customer needs.
  • Enshrine the agile ways of working into the project
  • Oversee decomposition of business requirements into technical solution designs, listing Features and stories that can be actioned within Agile Teams.
  • Establish a robust communication and support mechanism across department, Technology and Business teams.
  • Ensure the necessary resources are sourced to support demand.
Requisitos

  • Hands on technical leader expected to drive forward the technical capabilities and providing solutions. 
  • Proven track at stakeholder management, role requires interaction with senior individuals across systems/functions.
  • Enjoy managing and growing people. Ability to mentor and coach engineers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences, including other engineers, technicians, and non-technical personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to make critical technical decisions and trade-offs while considering project constraints and business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges effectively.
  • Experienced with Agile project management and agile practices 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire multiple teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
