We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Trust Administrator.

HSBC Private Banking seeks to be the leading international private bank for business owners and their families. It provides clients with wealth, business, and family succession solutions in the largest and fastest growing markets around the world.

In this role, you will:

·          Assist senior members of the team with the management of a portfolio of trust and companies for Ultra High Net Worth clients based in the Asia region with the aim to take responsibility for the management of certain High Net Worth relationships in due course.

·          Ensure that relationships are managed to a high standard and that there is strong connectivity with the GPB Global Relationship Managers based in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and Switzerland.

·          Assist in the regular review of trust structures in-line with HSBC’s risk management framework as well as the wider regulatory environment.

·          Facilitate and coordinate with across departments, service providers and professional advisors as necessary to follow up and complete client servicing requirements.

·          Assist with appropriate preparation for client meetings.

·          Identify enhanced ways of working to improve client experience and operational efficiency.

·          Demonstrate ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively to ensure expectations of clients and internal stakeholder are managed appropriately.

·          Demonstrate ability to correspond and interact effectively with all levels of seniority within the business.

Requisitos

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience of trust and company administration at a junior level.
  • Ideally a holder of or studying towards a STEP Diploma or other qualification relevant to trust and company administration.
  • Familiarity with the Jersey regulatory environment including knowledge of AML and CFT requirements.

·         A highly effective communicator

  • Tax knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Ability to positively contribute to projects, communicate progress as well as challenges and solutions.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure.
