We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - Global Advisory India Team Lead

Business: Wealth & Personal Banking

Principal responsibilities

  • Interface closely with Blackrock and internal IT to develop or enhance Advisory features HSBC is utilizing.
  • Collaborate with various IWS product teams to incorporate the relevant investment content into the Advisory process.
  • Provide domain expertise to resolve BAU issues from booking centers related to Global Advisory.
  • Manage the quality of advice and the model methodology within the Advisory architecture framework.
  • Liaise with other local platform teams to enhance the UI/UX for the advisory client journey.
  • Collaborate with global & regional Advisory team on product management, sales enablement topics and solve topics related to portfolio construction and investment content. Resolve advisory topics related to portfolio analytics escalated by the front office
  • Manage the local Advisory team and coordinate activities and book of work . Key contact person for global and regional Advisory team for any escalation
  • Manage local documentation requirements to facilitate scope expansion for local Advisory team.

Requisitos
  • Degree in finance/business and with other professional accreditations such as CFA. At least 12 years of experience in banking or asset management 
  • Have prior experience managing a team. Strong understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction 
  • Has previously been actively involved in building advisory propositions and platforms 
  • Quantitatively inclined with a keen eye for details. Knowledge with platforms and systems such as Aladdin, QlikSense and Avaloq 
  • Adept with MS Excel and Powerpoint. Effective with stakeholder management and able to work with teams across locations 
  • Critical to be able to collaborate as part of the broader global and regional Advisory team.
  • Ability to be act as subject matter expert and tap on the extended Advisory ecosystem for additional feedback and inputs 
  • Strong communication skills required to guide end users in the front office when they have queries on portfolio analytics 
  • Competing demands to build new features and enhancements of portfolio analytics. Resolving issues that arise from the usage of portfolio analytics while concurrently supporting the BAU activities of the front office.
