We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - Global Data Controls Design

Business: Data and Analytics Office

Principal responsibilities

  • Ownership and accountability of end-to-end delivery of Data Controls across select markets, businesses, and functions
  • Represent Global Data Management Office (GDMO) to, and act as the primary interface for, select global businesses, functions, markets and regional stakeholders
  • Responsible for shaping up and tracking design guidelines / changes to bring business closer to data control goals
  • Responsible for presenting Control designs in governance forums and engaging with a Senior audience, for approvals and cascade and addressing concerns/ queries
  • Work closely with all representatives from GDMO operations, GDT, DAO Business and Functions to collaborate on the data controls related topics
  • Influence the technology, tooling, architecture teams to build book-of-work for enhancements / changes  required for Data Controls implementation.
  • Closely coordinate with CCO and 2LOD or data control design related risk and controls. Prioritize the design team Book-of-work for addressing MSIIs, issues, CRs. Support GDMO management reporting and RCMM reporting with required papers, presentations and analysis.
  • Contribute to formulation of the strategy around the customer journey and the component parts of this to create a holistic customer experience by prudent expectation setting and management.
  • Own the user experience for Data Management in support for data control design and implementation. Represent the data controls design by understanding the requirements and developing appropriate controls supporting customer needs and wants
  • Responsible to connect and coordinate with stakeholders from controls, Internal audit, DAO representatives from GB/GFs, IT Product owners, Global Technology, Architects to socialize the design principles and take it to closure with DDA. Regular coordination with Operations team to stay connected on upcoming change triggers
Requisitos
  • Bachelors/ Masters in Engg/ Technology, Masters in Business Administration/ Computer Applications/ Any other Relevant field
  • Experience with engagements involving specific areas of Data, Analytics, Architecture (Business / System / Data), System Implementations, Data Engineering, Process Transformation involving system change. [at least experience of some]
  • Experience with engaging with senior stakeholders & business partners from various Geographies across forums
  • Experience in Risk, Controls and Data related projects, while engaging with multiple Regions and Geographies
  • Working experience on some of the technologies like ETLs, EAI, Reporting, Dashboarding, analytics / advanced analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of Confluence, JIRA and exposure to Agile approaches.
  • Hands on experience of tools on Transformer / Xceptor / Appian / Alteryx etc.
  • Knowledge of data classification and related regulations.
  • Exceptional navigating and influencing skills.
  • A can-do attitude & ability to quickly translate business requirements to Data related activities to be undertaken
