We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis. 

Principal Responsibilities

The role covers a wide variety of work ranging from but not limited to financial planning & forecasting to support of key internal strategic projects, monitoring of investment initiatives, product & customer level analytics.

  • Development and execution of comprehensive sales/revenue plans, long-term forecasts, and strategic plans. Work closely with senior management to develop and execute plans that align with the company's objectives and drive growth
  • Lead the analysis of large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for ANP & NBCSM optimization. Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders across the organization
  • Conduct Time Survey to support Product Expenses Assumptions, Develop and maintain expense allocation methodologies based on industry best practices. Work with actuarial and finance teams to ensure accurate expense allocation for product pricing and valuation
  • Identify inefficiencies in business processes and develop solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency
  • Provide high-quality insight and analysis over results, including benchmarked in the context of peers’ performance
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, executives, and bank partners, to understand their needs and deliver value-added solutions
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business analysis to drive innovation and improvement within the organization
  • Support ad hoc requests, IFRS17 and other MI projects
Requisitos
  • Finance discipline with several years of work experience in the Life Insurance industry
  • Strong numeracy background with an ability to take on new financial/technical concepts
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality analysis and commentaries
  • Strong communication skills and can work collaboratively with others, including with international and virtual teams
  • Track record of proactiveness, ability to learn fast, manage changes and deliver results within the tight deadlines
  • Strong proficiency at Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including ability to deliver impactful written reports and presentations
  • Understanding of IFRS17 is not necessary but desirable
