WPB Credit and Financial Crime Risk Control

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as WPB CDD Senior Manager, to support the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) function under the WPB Credit and Financial Crime Risk Control.

Principal responsibilities

  • Act as SME and driver for CDD related domain initiatives, including deployment of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and policies, digitalization or streamlining of customer journeys and operational processes, as well as conducting FCR related reviews and assessments, designing respective mitigation controls and executing respective remediation exercises
  • Formulate strategy and approach for engaging and driving external and internal stakeholders at both Group and entity levels, to support timely and quality deployment and execution of HASE WPB CDD related governance initiatives and frameworks across different business units and functions within the Bank, per Group’s Functional Instruction Manuals (FIM) and Line of Business Procedures (LoBPs)
  • Oversee teams of onshore and offshore CDD review resources, drive best practices, performance and quality outcomes of CDD and EDD review processing for HASE WPB (including Private Banking) customers against continuous improvement targets
  • Collaborate with relevant onshore and offshore stakeholders including Group / local Business Units, Financial Crime Compliance, Operations servicing the HASE WPB CDD functions to ensure effective CDD controls
Requisitos
  • University Graduate in Business, Finance, Accounting, Legal and Technology disciplines
  • At least 12 years of experience in financial services industry preferably in the capacity of regulatory, compliance and operational risk related areas, with proven track record of managing and delivering banking policies/ products/ processes projects
  • In depth functional domain knowledge on Know-Your-Customer and Customer Due Diligence within the Retail, Private Banking or Commercial Banking environment
  • Experience in senior level stakeholder management and communications
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Great sense of ownership and customer servicing mindset to drive efficient and quality deliverables
