We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of WPB Risk and Control Manager - IWPB BRR UTILITY HSBC HK RC.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead the Enterprise Risk Management Framework related activities and ensure the deliverables are in line with Group and Regional strategy and timeline.
  • Connect and work with stakeholders to review and update the Risk and Control Assessments.
  • Lead implementation of the Operational Resilience Critical Operations in AMH WPB.
  • Lead the delivery of continuous monitoring activities including AMH WPB business control owner CMA(Control Monitoring Assessments).
  • Lead the risk governance forum supporting, including RMF(Risk Management Forum), BSO(Business Service Owner) Forum MI, narratives and relevant risk paper draft.
  • Lead the issue and action management and governance in AMH WPB, provide timely follow up and summary to senior management.
Requisitos
  • University degree in Business/Banking/Risk Management or related subject OR other relevant qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years’ banking experience, preferably in retail banking operations / banking products, exposures to audit and/or compliance functions/ requirements an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience on the operational risk management, internal control monitoring, related regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Strong attentiveness to detail, compliance and control orientation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to respond resourcefully when change occurs by applying change principles for successful navigation through change.
  • Proficiency in both English and Cantonese.
  • Great sense of ownership and clear mindset to ensure efficient and effective processes
  • Good stakeholder management skill.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
