Report to: Senior Transitions Manager, Client Change and Onboarding (Function Manager) / SVP Account Management (Entity Manager)

Role Purpose
The jobholder is responsible for the new business on-boarding process for clients based in Taiwan of the Asia pacific region for HSBC Securities Services. The Global Transitions Analyst is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of new business initiatives, ensuring seamless integration into company operations. This role involves analyzing business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing project timelines to drive successful implementation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and adapt at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.  

In this role, you will: 
Job Contents 
  1. To assist in project coordination and end-to-end implementation of new business initiatives, products, or system enhancements including maintaining a project plan, track milestones with all external and internal stakeholders and ensure deadlines are met.  
  2. To identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to document business needs, processes, and workflows.  
  3. To translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical and operational teams with liaison among Sales/CE/AM, IT, Finance, Operations and Legal to ensure alignment and delivery.  
  4. To facilitate internal and client meetings to provide updates as well as to resolve implementation challenges
  5. To maintain detailed project documentation, including process maps, user guides, and training materials as well as co-ordination for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 
  6. To conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.  
  7. To arrange post implementation follow up call

Major Challenges
  1. This is a client facing role, which would require interaction, communication and negotiation skills.
  2. The jobholder will have to manage client satisfaction 
  3. The jobholder will need to become familiar with HSS products and systems, applicable policies and regulations, client and counterparty management protocols
