We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: Markets & Sec Services Tech
Principal responsibilities
- This position is looking for an experienced tech lead / SME.
- Being a senior and key technical member in team, and lead juniors and contractors for new project/feature technical design, code development, test and delivery.
- As project / platform stakeholder to tightly collaborate with business team for requirement discussion, clarification and commitment
- Technically contribute to deliver future state architecture to migrate existing legacy monolithic system to micro-service architecture based on GKE/IKP (Kubernetes Engine) infrastructure
- A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
- 5+ years IT experience in system development
- Fluent oral English is required to participate in various daily conference call with colleagues around the world
- Solid skill set and development experience in Java, Unix/Linux, Git and Maven is essential. Experience of FE framework such as React is a plus
- Solid skill set and development experience with one or more database products like Oracle/PostgreSQL/MongoDB
- Solid knowledge of Spring framework, hands on development experience on Spring & Spring Boot, Restful API development.
- Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently and under pressure against multiple deadlines
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Technical experience in system architecture design will be strong advantage
- Technical experience in micro service architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform will be strong advantage
- Agile or DevOps experience will be strong advantage
- Any Open Source project participation or any Github or blog publication will be an advantage
