We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Corporate Banking Relationship Manager.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Increase HSBC’s market presence and profile for Large corporate banking business by implementing an active calling, eco system mapping program for the incumbent’s and managing the sales activities in order to develop new Wholesale Banking business.
  • Manages his/her assigned portfolio of existing clients with a strong emphasis on proactively providing client driven value add solutions, Client-oriented professional to pro-actively manage a complex portfolio of clients, becoming a trusted advisor to lead strategic dialogues with clients at a portfolio level through the understanding of specific business requirements and delivering creative and flexible customer solutions. 
  • Contribute to the GTRF, GPS, GMs and Capital financing business by formulating and implementing an aggressive sales plan with strong focus on increasing profitability and wallet share, effectively managing of top WSB relationships from within the designated portfolio, actively engage with relevant stakeholders - Product Partners, CMBO, Sectors, Local RMs etc. - to explore all potential business opportunities both onshore and offshore.
  • Maximize customer satisfaction through exceptional customer service, providing information about products and services that suit and fulfill customers' needs, closely work the RM Support and support functions to ensure customer’s smooth transactions/ requests.
  • Deepen existing relationships and monitoring the credit risk associated with the portfolio, within the operating and strategic plans and in accordance with credit guidelines. Safeguard the Bank from potential loss by ensuring that credit reviews are kept up to date and that problem accounts are identified and dealt with at an early stage and operational controls are in place.
  • Be the First Line of Defend to protect the bank from any Financial Crime Risk, escalate all potential risks / unusual activities to the management, adhere to the consistent application of Group policy and adherence to regulatory, financial, and legal standards to minimise business and reputational risks.
  • Ensure losses through operational failings are minimized.
  • Drive and strengthen the culture of openness and teamwork, dependable and responsible and fairness within the team.
  • Work and deliver satisfactory results in project(s) assigned by Wholesale Banking from time to time.

Certifications, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Five years experience in Corporate Banking
  • Motivated, positive and eager to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Vietnamese)
  • Knowledge of the Bank’s operational procedures and systems
  • Proven track record in a client focused environment 
  • Experience of working in a teamwork environment 
  • Proven experience in identifying and managing the risks, issues and dependencies related to the business and in decision making
  • Customer service and team skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered
  • An ability to get things done

  • Possess developed interpersonal skills
  • Possess planning, organization and time management abilities
