We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Executive Assistant.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide effective and efficient day to day support to the senior executive with Global and Regional accountabilities
  • Support event logistics and administrative activities, including but not exclusive to calendar management, business trips and meetings management, expense management, research as well as coordinating and working with other assistants across the Group
  • Visitor/telephone screening and handling of internal / external correspondences
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as required, productively managing a substantial workload without sacrificing quality
  • Focus on delivering stakeholders’ requirements in a timely manner
  • Facilitating the internal communications such as information distribution and preparing presentation materials for the senior executives
  • Proven administrative or secretarial experience or equivalent
  • Effective time management, planning, organizing and problem solving skills
  • Excellent understanding or ability to quickly learn HSBC structures, processes, and objectives across the Group
  • Ability to anticipate senior/executive manager needs as well as operate independently and handle majority of responsibilities without consultation
  • Proven ability to work collectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
  • Form 5 graduate or above with pass in HKCEE and preferably with some work experience
  • Good interpersonal skills and numerical sense
  • Pleasant telephone manner and fluent in spoken English and Cantonese
  • PC skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as the core HSBC approval systems
  • Ability to adapt to a wide range of work procedure and operational guidelines
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to priorities and work under a tight schedule and pressure
  • Strong organizing and coordination skills
