We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a GPB ASP Client Selection and Exit Management (CSEM) Associate.
Principal Responsibilities
- As part of the GPB ASP Client Selection & Exit Management (CSEM) and broader Client Lifecycle Management teams, the Analyst will serve as a trusted advisor to regional GPB stakeholders
- The role-holder will help to identify, assess and mitigate reputational risks emanating from customer relationships and transactions through the CSEM and Reputational Risk & Client Selection Committee (RRCSC) governance process, including legal and regulatory requirements and HSBC policies and procedures (CDD, AML and Sanctions)
- The role-holder will provide support to the GPB ASP CSEM team to produce Management Information, analyse data, write reports and maintain records in the CSEM case management system (UCM-CS)
- The role-holder will advise the business on escalation processes and support in following up on case and exit execution progress
- The role-holder will be expected to collaborate across the region to generate efficiencies in processes
- A self-starter with the ability to organise/prioritise effectively and good attention to detail
- Lateral thinker/problem solver
- Stakeholder engagement / management - able to gain the confidence of management and colleagues
- Excellent communicator with strong inter-personal, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively and focus on delivery
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draft high quality presentations with an eye for detail and explain trends in Management Information
- Understanding of risk management, in particular Reputational Risk and Financial Crime Risk
- Knowledge of the Group’s risk management processes and structure
- Operate with flexibility and adaptation according to workload variations
- Be solutions and quality focused
- Systems experience - Excel, PowerPoint and UCM-CS (preferred)
