Your career opportunity
The Global Cybersecurity Function is responsible for protecting our customers, systems, and colleagues from Cyber Threats, whilst enabling the Business to grow securely, with resilience and at pace. This is achieved through the management of Cyber Risk through education, foresight, and information to drive risk-based decision making across HSBC. 
Within Cyber Education and Awareness, we are responsible for the design, and delivery of Training and Awareness to the wider HSBC organisation, to ensure colleagues understand their cybersecurity duties and responsibilities relating to procedures, policies, and cyber risk management behaviours.  
The role holder will work collaboratively with Control Owners, Project Manager, delivery partners and subject matter experts in gathering, translating, and clarifying project requirements and defining design options. The role holder will support with the translation of business requirements and designs into more detailed functional requirements and designs, representing the voice of the customer and business in these discussions, whilst ensuring data & information management integrity. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for UAT as part of the development & implementation lifecycle. 
The Analyst will be working across multiple technology change projects aimed at development and optimisation of learning platforms, communication channels, phishing simulations tooling, and cyber control compliance (e.g. reporting incidents).

What you’ll do
Requirements management, design, change management and implementation management activities.
Translating business requirements and designs into more detailed functional requirements and designs, balancing the voice of the customer and business stakeholders
Produce updated operational processes to support new features and tooling. 
Re-engineering and optimising existing processes
Lead design & delivery of user testing including documenting the results, conclusions, and recommendations.  
Working closely with the wider Cybersecurity Education & Awareness team to support the delivery and implementation of technology change projects. Including project planning, stakeholder engagement and delivery partner dependency management.  
Conduct varied data analysis activities, and collaborate with various stakeholders to identify, collect, organise, and interpret data from a variety of sources to support business decision making and solution design
Engage with peers and team members within the Cybersecurity functions to exchange knowledge, keep abreast with developments and work on continuously improving the Cybersecurity Education and Awareness activities.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
Awareness of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks, Agile methodologies and best practice techniques
Exposure to change implementation activity
Experience of data analysis and interpretation.
Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise
Able to support aggressive delivery timelines without compromising on quality and multitasking effectively.  
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to progress initiatives. 
Proactive, confident and takes responsibility and ownership for work and personal development. 
Strong understanding of the concept of quality content, not quantity content.  
Exceptional organisational skills and stakeholder management
