Global Functions (GFs) play a vital role in supporting the bank’s Global Businesses and offer a broad range of career opportunities in areas from legal, risk and finance to human resources, sustainability, marketing and communications. Their operational and functional teams around the world help HSBC’s Global Businesses to operate efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis. They also focus on controls and governance to reduce risk and protect the Group’s reputation.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an HR Service Delivery Officer.

Principal Accountabilities

HR Contact Center

  •          Perform as the 1st tier to address the HR queries from employees and allocate other cases to relevant stakeholders
  •          Raising alert if Vietnam HCC cannot meet “Green” status in overall (or any specific field) with route cause and action plan
  •          Process improvement: from HCC data/feedback, proactively escalate/propose ideas to improve the efficiency of HR processes and customer satisfaction
  •          Keep track of HCC key metrics to prepare regular and ad-hoc reports as required.

Employee Benefit Administration

  •         Managing employee benefit administration namely medical insurance, annual health check, recognition, EAP & well-being programs, and any other new employee benefit schemes to be implemented in the future.
  •          Make sure employee benefit schemes are managed as per policies and provide best service to bank staff 

HR inventory management

  •          Maintain HR Department Record Retention Schedule
  •          Manage off-site record inventory (at CROWN)
  •         Manage HR Operations Store Room

Other tasks to support HR Ops activities/projects as assigned

Customers / Stakeholders

  •          Promote service excellence and continuous improvement across the bank.
  •          Vendor management: fully understand the bank’s policies on third party management and manage vendors accordingly.

  •          Ability to coordinate with various parties in order to provide best service to customers
  •          Ability to balance between provide customer oriented service at the same time be compliant with regulations/policies
  •          Ability to work under high pressure and short deadlines

Role Context:

  •         HR Operations is established following new HR TOM, therefore, navigating in the right direction at the beginning is critical for setting up effective work practices and processes.
  •         Vietnam is an emerging market with quick market movement, anticipating change and adapting to it is key for successfully playing this role.

Management of Risk

Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM. 

Observation of Internal Controls

Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.  Foster a compliance culture and  implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators

Qualifications

  •          Minimum 2 years experience in HR
  •          Good  knowledge of HR function, policy and procedures as well as Labour Law
  •          Excellent customer oriented mindset
  •          Effective coordination skill
  •          Logical and critical thinking
  •         Effective communication with peers and customers
  •         Good command of written English
  •          Good teamwork
