We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of SCOM Technical Engineer. 


To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Relevant Experience: 15 to 18 years

Technical Skills:

  • SCOM 2012 or 2016 or 2019 experience - min 6 years’ primary hands-on usage
  • SCOM Developer Experience
  • Experience using SCOM Development tools - MP Studio OR MS Visual Studio
  • PowerShell
  • Windows Server Support Experience
  • Fixing common issues with SCOM infrastructure components
  • Proven record writing highly customized SCOM Management Packs
  • Tuning and troubleshooting alerting issues is essential for this role
  • End to end SCOM event management experience.
  • APIs understanding – Automation experience
  • Vendor interaction
  • Knowledge of APIs
  • Expertise on Agile project management
  • Expertise on working in JIRA/ confluence, GIThub , CI/CD pipelines ,testing etc.
  • Storage understanding.
  • Automation and application/product integration.
  • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure delivery and related process would be an advantage.
  • Service management insights in large organization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working large SCOM Management Groups (>5000 agents)
  • PowerBI - Dashboard creation.
  • Silect MP Author / MP Studio
  • SCOM Migration Experience - Upgrading between versions at enterprise level
  • SQL queries
  • Ability to lead technical resources for delivery.
  • Experience: 15 to 18 years.

  • Automation experience on: Ansible, Puppet / github / jenkins.
