Provide strategic support to our Global General Counsel and LREI team to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Leverage data and analytics to generate insights for decision-making and operational improvements. Responsible for annual financial planning of staff costs and external legal spend and monthly forecasting against the annual budget for the global team. Prepare for Quarterly Business Reviews with Chief Legal Officer. Partner with lawyers and law firms to ensure all external legal spend is on efficient fee arrangements. Drive the tech-enablement priority of the Global Legal team at HSBC and oversee the transition of historic manual processes globally to ServiceNow to deliver cost savings and efficiencies. Create low-code products to improve delivery of change management projects and process optimization. Keep a strong pulse on the fast-moving Generative AI landscape. Consolidate and automate global litigation reporting. Build strategic outsourcing models for the team including building offshoring operating models that can operate seamlessly with headquartered global teams in order to deliver cost, process and performance efficiencies. Support organizational design work, including any recruiting activities. Facilitate and support all People-related processes across the team, including compensation, promotions etc. Ensure that all staff and activities across the global team comply with all internal global policies, compliance, and audit requirements. Continually reassess and address any operational, regulatory and legal risks.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay Range: $241,408 to $251,408 per year.
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate, related work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
· Engaging with and supporting Global leadership teams in their strategic and operational objectives.
· Managing projects by defining step-by-step timelines, KPIs, milestones, and ownership for key strategic initiatives and following up with project owners to ensure timely completion.
· Data analysis and visualization in designing and operationalizing dashboards and visuals, including year-over-year trends.
· Financial planning and cost management, instilling cost discipline measures on project teams and setting KPIs to deliver financial budget.
· Process optimization, including road-mapping and rationalization, and implementation.
· Creating location strategies, including strategic reviews, work force planning, budget forecasting.
Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:
· Leading communications and trainings associated with technology implementation projects.
· Negotiating cost and fees with vendors.
· Developing organizational design, including strategic outsourcing and offshoring.
Must have 2 years of experience developing and supporting employee experience strategies, including all people-related processes, including compensation and promotions.
Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
· Product management, bridging the technology gap and connecting needs of employees with technology capabilities.
· ServiceNow.
· Low-code and no-code software solutions.
· Identifying opportunities to improve employee experiences based on AI innovation.
· Recruiting coordination.
International travel required up to 5%.
