We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Partnership Management Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
- The Partnership Management Manager will be responsible for providing support to the Global Insurance Frist Line Risk and Partnerships Governance teams on operational activities across all areas of Insurance Product Partnerships that linked to the commercial goals and the Global Insurance COO agenda spanning across 26 markets
- Provide direct support to Head of Partnership Governance to help with the coordination and execution of all operational management related matters for Insurance Product Partnerships
- Manage ad-hoc initiatives for the Partnership Management team, e.g. contract reviews, governance process for new partnership initiatives
- Oversight of governance and organisation models, ensure alignment with HSBC policy and procedure requirements with proper documentation and supporting management controls
- Accountable for ongoing monitoring of key controls for Insurance Product partnerships, proactive identification of issues and initiation of structured discussion with key stakeholders across Global Insurance and Insurance Product Partnerships communities
- Accountable for the preparation of governance meeting material & support input to relevant governance meetings
- Adhere to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and timely implementation of internal and external audit points
- Accountable in coordinating communication with local Strategic Partnership Leads and relevant stakeholders to drive execution and alignment globally for Insurance Product Partnership related matters
- Provide guidance and support in relation to Partnership Management to junior member of the team (e.g. intern)
- University degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance or related discipline
- A good knowledge of insurance, with an understanding of life and non-life products and features
- Previous experience in bancassurance and other partnership business is a plus
- Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with stakeholders across the business
- Ability to manage Business-As-Usual tasks efficiently and independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across Global Insurance and Group HSBC
- Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language to support problem analysis
