We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Senior Business Analyst
Role Purpose:
The role is within the Wholesale Credit & Lending area, which is part of the HTS Wholesale Banking division providing IT solutions and support for Global Banking (GB) and Corporate Banking (CB) business areas.
The individual will be an integral part of the build-out of business-critical systems and substantial career opportunities will present themselves to the relevant candidate.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who demonstrates the following required Business Analysis attributes:
- Collaborate with the business to help produce clear and unambiguous business requirements.
- Comfortable in gathering requirements from the business and writing both functional and technical specifications.
- Creates analysis of customer journeys and product functionality
- Supports the Product Owner to evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and the IT development team.
- Ability to produce clear and concise documentation in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Visio. Different documentation style and format dependent on audience.
- Has expertise in Agile engineering practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, LEAN) as well as Disciplined Agile and SAFE framework experience.
- Ability to manage conflicting business requirements and project scope.
- Ability to escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to Project Management.
- A delivery-orientated approach to both individually always assigned tasks and projects.
- An integral aspect of this role is for the candidate to leverage their communication with stakeholders to quantify business needs most optimally to the development team.
- Testing delivered IT components and working with the Development team to resolve any identified defects.
- Full life cycle Business Analysis experience from requirements definition through to implementation within a business facing IT environment.
- A degree in a numerate business focused subject (eg. Accounting, Finance or MBA) with intermediate to expert experience level.
- Experience in Credit & Lending or Credit Risk is desired.
- Experience in Basel 3 would be an added advantage.
- Experience on Agile project deliveries
- Complete formal knowledge of the BA artefacts like, business use cases, story map, user stories, requirement traceability matrix, etc.
- Experience working with development, analysis & test teams.
- Problem solving and analysing an issue\opportunity highly desirable.

- Portfolio management practices
Experience in Capital management or Investment Banking would be an added advantage.
- IIBA or Scrum or SAFE certifications are desirable.
