We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist. 

Business: Enterprise Technology

Principal responsibilities

• Technical Leadership:
• Lead the architecture and implementation of GCP-based solutions, ensuring best practices in scalability, security, and reliability.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Infrastructure Management:
• Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Implement and manage release engineering solution to streamline process to meet change control.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with use case teams, including software developers, product owners, to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitoring and Incident Response:
• Set up robust monitoring and logging solutions using Google Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver and setup integration with bank’s problem management tools.
• Lead incident response efforts, troubleshoot production issues, and conduct root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure setups, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Establish and enforce best practices for cloud operations across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network, Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps or cloud engineering, with a strong focus on GCP or other CSP.
• Proficiency in GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Network, IAM, BigQuery).
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github, Google Cloud Build).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Deep understanding of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Nice to have:

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect/DevOps Engineer certification or equivalent in other CSP.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in a tech lead or mentoring role.
