The candidate will join a team of engineers who are responsible for the Implementation, Migration and Maintenance of the File Gateway infrastructures (including Sterling Integrator and B2B). As well as the on boarding or modifying customer transfers for various Global Businesses and Functions


Principal Accountabilities:

  • On boarding new file transmissions and modifications
  • Manage Medium to large internal projects and deliver to deadlines
  • Flexible in terms of the hours covered to work with other entities around the group
  • Be able to hold technical discussions with colleagues around the organisation and provide managerial updates
  • Production Support experience.
  • Stakeholder management of various Global Business / Global Functions


  • Linux background with Strong understanding of SFG or Connect Direct along with SFTP/FTPS transmission protocols required.
  • Strong knowledge on Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP) and Sterling External Authentication Server (SEAS)
  • Strong working knowledge of transmissions protocols (SSH , CD , AS2 etc ) .
  • Good Knowledge on Forgerock LDAP
  • Strong Networking and security experience of cryptography applications and data security.
  • Hands on administration experience of Windows and Unix/Linux, operating systems.
  • Good communication skills and approachable nature
  • Good analytical and logical thinking is essential
  • Excellent priority management and a willingness to take ownership with a can do approach even under pressure.
  •  An understanding of business environment, IT relationships and importance of good customer service.
