We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Tanium product lifecycle (Tanium Core, Comply – both infr and agents) end to end
  • Look for automation opportunities to introduce self-service for customers
  • Perform POV/POC with Tanium Index, Performance and other
  • Enhance observability for Tanium service, proactive alerts, self healing, incident avoidance
  • Review of Linux/Windows content provided by customers (sensors, packages, framework scripts)
  • Linux/Windows Code promotions and deployments – Change Orders, content promotions
  • Engineering compliance solutions for new OS's and amendments made to the Tanium architecture
  • Tanium Engineering - Review of new/modified Tanium provided solutions (eg certificate manager, AD Core content, Asset etc)
  • Tanium Engineering Content - Creation of new global content solutions (eg frameworks solutions, compliance packages, API and misc sensors)

Requirements

Qualifications – External

 To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in IT.
  • Very good and proven Tanium engineering experience (Tanium Core and Comply as minimum)
  • Essential technical skills: Splunk, shell scripting, Bash, powershell, Github
  • Desirable technical skills: Jenkins and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) or other CI/CD apps. Knowledge of Puppet is a plus but not essential
  • Knowledge of automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools
  • Experience developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines across multiple technology stacks is a plus
  • Experience in highly available, highly scalable architectures
