HSBC Global Payments Solutions provides corporate customers with a full range of banking services including multi-currency business accounts, payments and cash management and e-Banking Platform. 

With dedicated GPS Sales and Client management team providing local support and advice in over 60 countries and territories, HSBC GPS helps customers to well manage their Global Liquidity and Cash management.

Report to: SVP and Country Head of Global Payments Solutions

Role Purpose
To be responsible for the marketing and selling of domestic and regional cash management solutions to the Banks’ Corporate and Institutional client base.

Job Contents
  1. Win new GPS business from Corp clients to achieve agreed revenue and product targets. Penetrate further into existing clients, increasing HSBC's share of wallet. Gain market share by proactively targeting and wining business from new clients.
  2. Respond to, and satisfy, customer needs in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Promote HSBC's GPS capabilities to improve awareness of the GPS business and to generate sales opportunities.
  4. Develop and deliver both advisory and product-specific presentations to targeted clients in support of potential opportunities.
  5. Proactively engage RM's and product partners to strategize on customer deals, revenue generation ideas on a regular basis.
  6. Drive appropriately tailored responses to tender requests and RFPs, producing comprehensive and competitive proposals within mandated timeframes.
  7. Ensure that sales administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner and take ownership for facilitating the smooth handoff to the assigned implementation team to ensure that no unforeseen issues arise, or to resolve if necessary.
Information
  1. University graduate with a relevant business degree.
  2. Solid GPS knowledge/experiences with corporate banking experience.
  3. Good Sales/Marketing and Presentation skill.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and abilities to liaise effectively with personnel across the functions.
  5. Fluency in both spoken and written English, Chinese is essential.
  6. PAD (personal account dealing) covered.
