We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Distribution Campaigns & Events .
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Responsible for planning and implementing local events, overseas learning trips and communications plan with a key focus on maximizing the motivation of the sales force to drive business
- Events planning and management which involves working with internal and external stakeholders to plan, promote and execute all distribution events form conceptualization to completion
- Serve as an internal events adviser and event management expert, proposing value add events and direction around business objectives and priorities. Collaborate cross-functionally with business owners to define strategic event objectives, target audience; curate programme/content; develop key messages and integrated campaign touchpoints
- Manages all logistics on site such as set up, rehearsal and making decisions to ensure effective execution of the events
- Manage event timelines, budget and logistics with a high level of details and accountability, from venue sourcing ad contract negotiation to site operations and post-event analytics
- Lead event creative development and production in partnership with external vendors, internal stakeholders –ensuring high quality events, experience and audience engagement. For content creation, expected to develop communication plan, design, write and publish content in print or digital platforms to generate interest in events and campaigns to engage the distributors
- Ensure events are planned within company guidelines and manages the risks associated with the brand and workplaces safety by proactively engaging other internal key partners as needed
- Maximize opportunities to fully leverage on cost and manpower efficiency for events planning without compromising on the quality of events
To be successful you will need
- University degree in Marketing/Mass Communications/Hospitality & Tourism with proven track record in Event Management (both in Singapore and overseas), Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing. Experience in video production/editing is an added advantage
- Strong creative flair with skills to do graphic design (develop Electronic Direct Mails)
- Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills with a proactive stance, driven by self-motivation, meticulous attention to details
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently and independently in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A self-starter who is resourceful and confident in external vendor management and internal stakeholder management
- Ability to problem –solve, stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail and creative ambition
