We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist

In this role you will:

We are looking for a highly skilled Wi-Fi Subject Matter Expert (SME) with specialized expertise in Juniper / Cisco Networks wireless solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing Wi-Fi networks using Juniper's Mist AI-driven platform. This role requires in-depth knowledge of wireless networking, troubleshooting, and a deep understanding of Juniper solutions to drive seamless and robust connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy enterprise-grade Wi-Fi networks using Juniper Mist AI and related hardware.
  • Conduct periodic vulnerability assessment and take action to remediate.
  • Conduct wireless site surveys, heatmaps, and RF analysis to ensure optimal coverage and capacity.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Juniper wireless access points, switches, and edge devices.
  • Monitor and analyze Wi-Fi performance using Juniper's Mist AI tools, including anomaly detection and real-time insights.
  • Troubleshoot complex wireless network issues, including RF interference, authentication failures, and bandwidth constraints.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to identify and resolve connectivity challenges.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for Juniper wireless technologies, providing guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Juniper's Mist AI platform, firmware, and wireless trends.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and clients to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Generate performance reports and recommend strategies for continuous improvement. business and functions.

     

    Requirements

     Qualifications – External

     To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in network design, deployment, and troubleshooting with minimum 5 years in Wi-Fi network engineering.
    • Certifications in Juniper technologies, such as Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCP), are highly preferred.
    • Additional wireless certifications like CWNA, CWNP, or CCNP Wireless are advantageous
    • Proven hands-on experience with Juniper Mist AI-driven wireless solutions.
    • Familiarity with networking and wireless equipment from other vendors (Cisco, Aruba, etc.) is a plus.
    • Expertise in Wi-Fi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF design, and security standards (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X).
    • Strong knowledge of Juniper platforms, including Mist Cloud, AI-driven insights, and microservices architecture.
    • Proficiency in automating regular task using Ansible, Python and other scripting languages.
    • Proficiency in related technologies: VLANs, QoS, firewalls, and edge computing.
    • Familiarity with networking tools like Wireshark, Ekahau, or AirMagnet
