This role will be a part of a team with dual roles and responsibilities, i.e. Regulatory Affairs (RA) and Operations, Services and Technology & Global Functions Regulatory Compliance (RC) and will hold specific roles and responsibilities that relates to both RA area as well as Operations, Services and Technology & Global Functions RC area. The role will support RA and RC teams and keep senior management informed when needed.

• Deliver proactive and more consistent management and oversight of regulatory developments in HSBC Bank A.Ş; 
-Identify and provide oversight of material regulatory developments, supporting HSBC Bank AS (“HBTR”) to address regulatory change.
-Provide a forward-looking analysis of the regulatory framework.
-Provide support to business lines and functions in assessing the impact of new/amended regulations.

• Deliver proactive and consistent management and oversight of regulatory engagements for HSBC Bank A.Ş;
-Responsible for building-up and maintaining strong relationship with local regulators and provide continuous dialogue between the Bank and local regulators under supervision of Regulatory Affairs Senior Manager and Head of Regulatory Compliance.

• Establish a relationship with stakeholders within Türkiye, other Global/Regional teams to provide expertise and support on all Regulatory Affairs related matters.

• Deliver proactive and consistent oversight for RC risks for Operations, Services and Technology & Global Functions;
-Responsible for providing guidance and consultancy regarding the regulatory compliance risk to the Operations, Services and Technology & Global Functions teams.
-Responsible for ensuring effective monitoring of risk steward tools, dashboards, and MIs regarding CEO owned risks.
-Track regulatory developments, perform impact analysis assigned by RC Operations, Services and Technology & Global Functions Senior Manager and work with relevant teams as well as IT in regulation implementation projects and follow actions until full implementation.

• Support the Regulatory Development Forum.
