Global Trade Solutions comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Client Services Manager II, Global Trade Solutions.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Managing, owning and handling the new trade account opening, HSBCnet – Internet Trade Services (ITS) module – post sales support, and developing and presenting Trade Academy, customer focused training
  • Delivers AMH ’s Global Trade Solutions (GTS) CS strategy and operating model, aligned with the global GTS CS target operating model
  • Contribute to achieving the overall business objective of revenue growth through revenue retention, reduced sales time on service, proactive management of GTS service performance and increased clients’ usage of self-serve solutions
  • Handle, own and resolve clients’ queries, issues and complaints relating to trade account opening, HSBCnet – ITS module and Trade Academy
  • Coordinate with Transaction Services staff, Sales, and RMs and other internal / external staff for service performance and issues
  • Provide transactional trade advisory to assigned clients, Sales and Relationship Managers (RMs), and provide input to account planning
  • Provide supply chain and traditional trade related expert inputs to the clients and internal teams, as necessary, identify new potential requirements
Requirements
  • Strong experience in customer service-oriented roles
  • Good knowledge of open account supply chain and traditional trade products and banking facilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership to create a collaborative work environment with a wide variety of business partners
  • Ability to independently make sound business decisions using good judgment and business sense
  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the identification of appropriate experts to execute deliverables
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
