We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Actuarial Services. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Part of Par & Universal Life Fund Management and Experience Studies team
  • Responsible for supporting experience monitoring, assumption setting, impact/sensitivity testing in the Actuarial Services Department to support business needs
  • Support the monthly and quarterly delivery of management information for internal stakeholders
  • Support in ad-hoc actuarial projects and onboarding of new products
  • Responsible for maintaining local Model Governance standards as per HSBC guidelines
  • Work closely with the group office and external Actuarial consultants, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines and statutory regulations
  • Min. 4 years or above of Actuarial experiences
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Hands-on experience in Prophet is a plus
