We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our IRRBB team in the role of Senior Software Engineer


In this role you will be expected

  • To undertake activities on Design and Development (CTB) as well as Production Processing Support (RTB) fronts.
  • To provide e support across the end-to-end delivery, utilizing the skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand.
  • Create robust technical design and a strategy for development of new components to meet requirements. Work on test plans including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality aspect.
  • Provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end to end journeys
  • To establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data.
  • To work with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change.
  • Role demands working in shifts and provide On-Call support to production system
  • To ensure the service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered. Actively participate in and drive the mandatory exercises from time to time on resilience, recovery and service management.


To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Having past hands-on experience in working on data warehousing or reporting systems
  • Preferred technology skills –PL/SQL, Control M, Python/PowerShell /Windows Scripting. Experience in implementing ETL processes/SSIS Package and good debugging skills
  • Participate in design workshop, code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Ability to do coding, testing and deliver quality product to the stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Ability to understand the vulnerabilities and subsequent patching for infrastructure
  • Role demands working in shifts and provide On-Call support to production system.Good knowledge on incident management and ability to lead the team from the front during incident/crisis calls
  • Ability manage various stakeholders which could be Business Users, Change Delivery, Audit Representatives, etc.
  • Candidate will be required to continually enhance the skills within a number of specialisms which include gaining business knowledge, vendor product understanding, Impact Assessments, Development, Code Scanning and Deployments along with operational / business support.



  • Extensive experience in writing efficient SQL Scripts and SQL optimization techniques. Good understanding of RDBMS concepts
  • Must familiar with using tools – GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins.
  • Highly proactive and able to work independently.
  • Experience of working with disparate teams and resources located remotely.
  • Proven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspective.
