We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: MSS Operations Tech
Principal responsibilities
- Work as a full stack engineer to design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business needs, according to established standards and best practices
- Conduct and support testing to ensure the quality of all deliverables
- Propose system solutions and produce documentation to ensure their maintainability and smooth implementation across local and regional sites
- Work with business analysts and project managers to deliver projects, participate potentially from requirements gathering through production rollout and support
- Coordinate local resources and communicate with international colleagues
- Provide weekday and weekend production support
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group's standards of ethical behaviour
Requirements
- A university graduate with degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
- A minimum of 6 years of IT experience in business system development environment, preferably working on large, complex global projects for investment banking business
- Solid experience on automated testing, DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline setup
- Experience in development and support of banking application
- Hands-on application development experience in Java and Linux
- Proactive, possess an outgoing personality, self-driven and be able to work independently and under pressure
- Sound communication and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
- Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas are advantages:
- Treasury products/systems and back office process workflows
Technical skills
- Java (version 21), Tomcat, Jetty
- Sprint boot Framework
- Javascript, html
- Oracle Database
- Collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence, GitHub.
- CI/CD tools: Maven, Jenkins, Ansible
- Linux
- Agile methodology
- Microservice architecture
