Role Context:


The job holder supports a range of performance and reward activities across the Group / Global Business / Region / Country. Facilitates country execution of P&R projects / activities, provides thoughtful analysis and P&R knowledge management activities of the business/function and the wider HSBC organisation; contributes to the design, development and review of P&R policies, processes and practices that are aligned with Group P&R framework to support the dynamic and changing business needs


Key Responsibilities:


•Lead the Performance and Reward processes within the country
•Work with People Advisors, People Consultants and HR Business Partner in Country on all P&R related topics
•Manage with regional P&R support the annual pay review for the country which will involve profit share pool allocation, review of senior compensation proposals, stakeholder engagement, system readiness whilst ensuring local regulatory rules are adhered to
•Run reward analytics to ensure relevant MI is provided to senior audiences
•Communicate and coordinate with the Regional P&R team to ensure alignment in processes and key compensation decisions and performance management
•Understand the local competitor market practice, external market developments and trends, legislative and regulatory developments and stay up to date with the latest changes and the related impacts.
•Manage the Benefits application, policy and process within the country
•Advice on compensation and benefits processes for assignee

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• 7-10 years experience in HR is a must
• Knowledge of the Performance and Reward practices in country and in the financial services sector
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment (such as the local labor law)
• Experience in Vendor Management
• Strong business acumen and capability to link business strategy to people practices
• Ability to interpret and apply market data and trends
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communications skills to effectively management senior stakeholders
