HSBC Global Private Banking helps high net worth and ultra high net worth clients manage, grow and preserve their wealth for generations to come. Our network of global experts helps clients access investment opportunities around the world, plan for the future with wealth and succession planning, manage their portfolio with tailored solutions, and find the right support for their philanthropy.

In this role, you will:

Principal responsibilities

As a Global Private Banking Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing the needs of our high-net-worth clients. You’ll successfully manage and serve existing client relationships, grow revenues across client portfolios and develop new revenue streams. This may include all or some of the following activities:

·Providing full-service banking and all transactions to high-net-worth clients through the marketing of appropriate company services

·Establishing new relationships and managing existing relationships to generate new assets under management and increase revenue

·Growing HSBC’s share of our client’s wealth by involving product and investment specialists to ensure that product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements

·Driving/contributing to achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment

·Understanding and ensuring compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business

·Managing junior coverage staff to support and deliver client performance against plan

·Contribute to achieve the team’s business objectives and ensuring ongoing development of your skills within the team

Eligibility

1.     Minimum 12 months in your current role. For China candidates you need to follow the internal transfer policy of your HSBC entity

2.     Right to work in China

3.     Fluency in English and Mandarin are required

4.     Candidates must be willing to travel

5.     In order to set yourself up for success in your future role and to ensure that the development programme fulfils your current needs, you should apply for a role which is within a maximum of one GCB level from your current role.
