We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Head of Payment Proposition and Platform. 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Formulate robust business plans and pricing strategies to accelerate growth in domestic and international payment volume, product profitability and market share
  • Drive the development of new product features and innovations to strengthen payment propositions and enhance customer experience
  • Steer the design and development of customer-led payment journeys and drive digitalization of transactions
  • Lead partnership management and maintain collaborative relationship with clients, merchants and partners within the payment ecosystem
  • Devise insight-led acquisition, usage and retention strategies to grow and sustain relationship of strategic segments throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Drive commercialization of opportunities arising from regulatory changes and market development
  • Establish and maintain a robust and efficient control environment to ensure proper financial and non-financial risk management and compliance
Requirements
  • Over 15 years of relevant experience in payments and transactional banking products or similar product and service management within retail banking
  • Experience of product management, organizational leadership, and commercial management of transactional banking products
  • Strong technical knowledge of retail banking products and market/industry review for strategy formulation
  • Demonstrate change leadership and strategic focus with strong Growth Mindset and passion to champion change and promote innovation.  
  • Strong customer centricity focuses to deliver market-leading products, services and experience to targeted customers  
  • Highly effective navigation within a complex matrix environment, governance standard and regulatory context with agile ways of working and strong engagement with different levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong track record in orchestrating and leading strategy development, business planning and implementations across multiple business and functional stakeholders to successful completion
  • Seasoned people leadership to engage, motivate and develop a diverse team; drive strong performance culture with clear aligned direction; build talent pipeline and business bench strength
  • Strong outcomes focus with adaptability, sound judgement and business insights in decision making, and accountability in delivery   
  • University degree in Investment, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related disciplines
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
