We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead CONSULTANT SPECIALIST.

Principal responsibilities
- Functional Manager of engineer resources across multiple pods, reports to the Delivery Head of the global Omni-channel customer engagement solution.
- Provide support across the end-to-end global Omni-channel customer engagement solution using Cloud, Big data, micro-services, third party decision engine (PEGA CDH) and run lifecycle, utilizing skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand.
- Provide thought-leadership to stakeholders across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements
- Co-Ordination and delivery for the global Omni-channel customer engagement solution with demand coming from multiple location and product owners while working with Dev teams globally across potential multiple locations including (Guangzhou, Pune, Hong Kong, Poland, London).
- Support the solution architect to ensure that solutions and services are supported by the right architectures & systems.
- Ensures the level of automation within the team is optimized at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance.
- Responsible for production support, stability & improvements - removing long-term support issues, driving improvements and focus long-term stability of the Multi-channels customer engagement solution
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality deliverables and engineering related activities within the agile development lifecycle.
- Ability to resolve engineering related impediments together with the scrum team. Strong organizational awareness and a detailed understanding of our Business and the client
- Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like Cloud, data, PEGA CDH, cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.
- Build and expand the engineer team to support current and future market rollout.
- Strong experience scoping, planning and delivering projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles
- 10+ years of technology experience with project development and delivery in Agile model. Coding experience with Java, GCP and microservices, data solutions.
- Hands on experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenAPI and REST based services. Strong experience of postman and API lifecycle
- Hands on experience on large scale data solutions using GCP services like DataProc, Dataflow, Cloud Bigtable, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, Cloud storage, Compute Engine, Looker and Cloud IAM.
- Experience with application security (SSL, ForgeRock), networking and infrastructure.
- Hands on experience on DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong leadership and management qualities with the ability to motivate others and lead by example
- Excellent communication skill and the ability to interact professionally with diverse group of stakeholders, internally and externally and both technical and non-technical.
- Excellent organization awareness, commercial acumen and understanding of HSBC Strategy.
- Experience in effectively managing contractor and vendor teams.
- Experience of implementing real time corporate digital marketing campaigns application is a plus
- Knowledge of PEGA CDH or equivalent tool is a plus
- Previous experience as senior engineer lead on multiple large-scale product or enterprise designs.
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.

- High proficiency in both verbal and written English
- Excellent communication skill with ability to present and interact professionally with diverse group of stakeholders, internally and externally and both technical and non-technical.
