Report to: Director, Business Management

Role Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to support the SSV COO office and the senior management team across a broad and varied remit, from strategic planning through to day-to-day business management activities, including but not limited to:
- Assisting with the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area aims.
- Participate and support in business planning activities which may include financial, technological and resource planning.
- Contribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedback.
- Support the development and monitoring of internal governance activities.
- Investigating and seeking remedies for discrete issues which may be adversely affecting business unit performance.
- Evaluate and analyse management information relating to external service providers of their provision, monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are honoured.

Information
-Understanding of the Securities Services business and the changing regulatory and competitive landscape; even better if with Markets & Securities Services overall business understanding.
- Experience in change management and control roles.
- Good planning skills and keen sense of prioritisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to negotiate and work effectively with senior business leaders across business lines and geographies. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is a MUST.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and able to influence at all levels of the business.
- Strong problem solving and prioritization skills and be able to perform multitask under pressure with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent team player with a proactive and self-motivated attitude
- Ability to think and act independently, with a “Can do” attitude with a willingness to roll-up the sleeves in order to get things done.
