Trader, Structured and Index Products Desk, HSBC Bank USA, N.A., New York, NY:

Structure and negotiate the terms and conditions of financing transactions. Trading mandate for structured credit financing and market access business with Institutional clients. Risk management of structured trading books, including financial, legal, operational, regulatory, reputational and other financial and non-financial risks. Conduct due diligence on potential investments, involving the review of financial statements, legal documents, and market research. Grow the existing business and develop capabilities of Structured Credit, Financing and Index products. Improve the functionality and scope of existing risk management and pricing infrastructure. Collaborate effectively across trading, structuring and sales teams, including support groups. Maintain capital, cost and operational efficiency ensuring it is optimized and aligned with business strategy. Support technology and automation projects to improve the business platform. Work closely with support partners in Risk, Finance and Operations to ensure business values, strong conduct and good behaviors are applied in all actions and across all responsibilities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by collaborating with internal teams, such as credit risk and legal. Clearly communicate and present on complex financial concepts.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay Range: $250,000 to $260,000 per year.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate, related work experience.

Must have 5 years experience in each of the following:

·         Structuring and executing complex financial transactions;

·         Financial markets, including credit, interest rate and FX markets;

·         Derivative modelling, pricing and risk management;

·         Structured Finance, securitization and securities financing; and,

·         Performing detailed financial analysis and due-diligence using financial software and tools.

Must have or be able to obtain within 90 days of joining FINRA Series 7 and 63 certifications.
