What you’ll do:

  • Requirements management, analysis and documenting all relevant business analysis deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, e.g., BRD, user stories, risks, assumptions.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Work along with the product owner and stakeholders to breakdown requirements to epics, stories, tasks.
  • Create test cases and participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.
  • Support internal/external assurance and audit requirements.
  • Risk identification, risk reporting and devising interventions to mitigating risks.
  • Own the change management activities including diverse tasks such as timeline planning to stakeholder engagement.
  • Streamlining and improving operational activities.
  • Contributing to the BA chapters to improvise best practices across DAO ESG.
Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Overall 8+ years of experience in Data and analytics, data governance, MI reporting projects.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or related roles; able to demonstrate experience in requirements management and stakeholder management.
  • Able to analyse data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights that can inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate complex ideas and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems by developing innovative solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, collaborate with different stakeholders, and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations.
  • Technical data knowledge; ETL understanding.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Lean, Kanban etc)
  • Hands-on experience of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Curiosity and drive to continue learning.
  • Experience in handing internal/external assurance and audit requirements.
  • Knowledge in data visualisation and business intelligence tools like Tableau or QlikView.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within ESG
  • Good understanding of the industry and the challenges and changes in the sector.
  • Covers a wide range of activities that require evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated perhaps novel situations
  • Seeks ways of improving and adapting day to day departmental activities and will actively seek authority to implement them
  • Latitude to make decisions outside of established procedures but within a policy framework.  Broad guidelines are available.  Role implements strategy set by others.
  • The role requires the ability to guide, persuade and influence others through the developed skills of communication and diplomacy.
  • The role requires the ability to negotiate and influence within their team with a high level of influence.
