The individual will join as a junior sales staff who will support/ work with other members of the Corporate Sales team in the following areas:
- Assist in the maintenance of market share in client coverage in order to solidify the bank’s position as a market leader in Korea.
- Analyze and provide up-to-date information on market developments and colors.
- Support and manage relationships with various corporate clients including Local Large Corporates, Multi-National Corporations, and Commercial Banking clients., including those serviced over e-platforms for flow based business
- Provide price quotations to target clients and contribute to the profitability of the bank through distribution of bank’s products in FX, Option and Rates derivatives.
- Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment.
- Assist clients in effectively communicating their banking/investment requirements to internal stakeholders including Trading teams, Operations, Relationship Managers, and other product partners etc.
- Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC internal control standards as well as local regulatory guidelines.
- Sales/Marketing experience in banking industry is preferred
- Analytical, meticulous aptitude required in accordance with demands of the role (intensity and diversity of change- not only in global markets but also in environment of industries, business knowledge process, compliance/risk nature of the function, competitive landscape for resources etc)
- Good presentation and communication skills preferred
- Able to work as a team in a collaborative and adaptable manner
- Analytical with attention to details
- Strong understanding of the overall Markets business, its products, clients, systems and key processes
- Fluent in English and Korean (verbally and written)
