We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Ansible Engineer/Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform  

• Manage and support Build Automation in a large Ansible managed Linux estate

• Manage and support Configuration management and enforcement in a large Ansible managed Linux estate

• Troubleshoot issues with Kong API and AAP orchestration of VMWare and VM builds

• Support Code promotions and perform Code reviews

• Provide L3 support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents

• Consultation on customer code development

• Support new OS versions development, deployment and configuration

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Highly experienced in Automation technologies – Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform

• Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable (eg Puppet)

• Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable

• Experience in development/support Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines  

• Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and DEPL controls

• Knowledge of Kong and use of AAP in API development and maintenance
