We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Actuarial Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
- Act as a key member for regular valuation process in particular for IFRS17 reporting
- Provide support on the actuarial items and MI information for various stakeholders, including Local Management, Finance, Risk and Group Office
- Ensure that the financial reporting work is compliance with the internal and external audit requirements
- To provide solutions and timely response upon request
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards
- Ensure compliance with Model Governance Standards, IFIM and other FIMs where applicable
- Provide support to and supervise work of junior team members
- Extensive experience in an actuarial role at a global insurance firm University graduate in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Business Finance or related discipline, with more than 5-year experience in life insurance
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Experience with pricing or valuation of participating business will be an advantage
