What you’ll do:
Process
- Background knowledge of Credit Services and Collateral Management
- Good understanding of Collaterals and Securities (Case Creation/Perfection/Release) - UK CMB/WPB
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with WPB, CMB and external parties (Lawyers/Brokers)
- Should be good with maintaining records accurately.
- To support the Manager in ensuring efficient & effective service management of process to achieve business targets
- Ensure that internal audits and measures are undertaken regularly and reviewed in order to achieve / exceed agreed Process and Global Operating Metrics.
- Drive constant improvement in the quality of service provided to Business partners and external customers.
- Ensure service provided to CMB/WPB lines of business should be seamless and with no compromise on data integrity standards.
- Handle impact of erratic workflows through effective capacity planning, leave management and process prioritisation
- Maintain up-to-date information on all policies, processes & procedures (including relevant policy papers & manuals)
- MI and other business data requirements are completed accurately and supporting statistics / reports / returns are presented to Business / Management within agreed timelines
- Given the inherent operational risk, the incumbent is expected to understand the operational risk framework and the impact of his/her actions while handling operations.
- Management of the workflow to ensure efficient operations of the unit
- Exercise proper operational checks and balances / undertake self-audit to ensure accuracy and quality of work output.
- By actively contributing to the activities & functions of CMU / Credit Services and GSC.
Customers
- Responsible for the process complying with service level agreements
- Establish and maintain effective relationship with Business Groups and identify areas of service improvements
- Ability to handle escalations and resolve complex process related issues
- Maintain appropriate interaction with business users to ensure proper interpretation and adherence of policies & procedures
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Skills/Experience Required :
- MBA Finance / B.Com / M.Com
- Prior experience in Commercial Securities/Collateral Processing is essential
- Good understanding of commercial banking products
- To be willing to work in any shifts
