The Opportunity:
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business/Data Analyst to support strategic workforce management initiatives, operating model design, and performance governance frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of transformational projects, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. You will play a key role in translating business challenges into analytical solutions, helping optimize workforce capacity, improve delivery models, and measure performance outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with business leads and project teams to define and refine workforce requirements, capacity plans, and demand forecasts.
- Support the design and implementation of operating models, including process mapping, functional alignment, and FTE distribution.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI tracking tools to monitor performance across programs and business units.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities across delivery services and workforce models.
- Conduct root cause analysis and performance variance analysis to support governance and operational excellence reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, Finance, Operations, Strategy) to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment.
- Support governance forums with reporting packs, insights, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Document business processes, data flows, and project deliverables to ensure transparency and continuity.
- Assist in scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis for resource optimization and delivery transformation initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to data quality, compliance, and data governance standards.
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Postgraduate degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Management, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in strategy, operations, or workforce domains.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Hands-on experience in workforce planning, demand-supply modelling, or process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt).
- Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) tools or platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods, JIRA, or project tracking tools.
- Experience working on Value Stream Mapping (VSM) or operational heatmaps.
- Exposure to financial or banking operations, especially in Credit Services, Risk, or Collateral Management.
